iAtlântico – acesso integrado a ecossistemas marinhos no espaço e tempo

Resumo: iAtlantic directly addresses call topic BG-08 [B]-2018-2019, Assessing the status of Atlantic marine ecosystems by performing an integrated assessment of the status and dynamics of deep-sea and open-ocean Atlantic ecosystems to enhance our understanding of the Atlantic and support sustainable exploitation of its natural resources. iAtlantic has been designed with partners in Europe, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, South Africa and the USA and spans the realms of science and technology, industry, education, civil society interest and policy. This integrated ecosystem assessment will strengthen capacity and improve understanding for sustainable ecosystem management by connecting stakeholders, data, expertise, and knowledge resources across the nations that border the Atlantic and via links to adjacent sea basins.
